The Energy Data Summit hosted by Opendatasoft, E.DSO, and GEODE brought together over 100 data leaders in Brussels on December 6, 2023. Attendees shared their knowledge, learned from their peers, met old friends and made new contacts at the in-depth event.

* Study conducted by Opendatasoft, E. DSO and GEODE in September 2023 among a panel of CDOs and data leaders from European companies in the energy sector (Distribution System Operators (DSOs), Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and energy producers). Participants will leave with an exclusive copy of the report.
E.DSO: European Distribution System Operators (E.DSO) promotes and enables customers empowerment and the increase in the use of clean energy sources through electrification, the development of smart and digital grid technologies in real-life situations, new market designs and regulation. E.DSO gathers 35 leading electricity distribution system operators (DSOs), including 2 national associations, cooperating to ensure the reliability of Europe’s electricity supply for consumers and enabling their active participation in our energy system
GEODE: Founded in 1991 GEODE is made up of European independent distribution companies of gas and electricity. The association represents more than 1200 companies in 15 countries, both private & public owned. We serve a population of 100 million people. GEODE defends the interest of the local distributors in front of energy authorities on national and international level and allows the exchange of expertise, the share of data and competence.
The exchange of experiences and understanding how together and by sharing we can all help develop and grow our open data portals. If I had to describe the event in two words I would say sharing and networking.
